Sometimes, motherhood can be isolating, but often it can be a great way for women to come together and support one another while sharing a common experience.
Celebrate breastfeeding in our community and kick off World Breastfeeding Week by joining other moms in The Big Latch On at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian.
The Big Latch On is a global event which takes place each year since it began in 2010. This year, The Big Latch On hopes to break their 2013 record of 14,536 latched on kids. To be a part of the global movement and show your support for breastfeeding mothers around the world, all you have to do is show up and bring your breastfeeding child to the event. Participants will be latching on with their little ones at 10:30 AM and all latched children and mamas will be counted as a part of the global total.

Sponsors (including Richmondmom) of the Big Latch On in Midlothian will be providing food, volunteers to count breastfeeding moms, and raffle off some giveaways.
Gather up all the mamas you know who are breastfeeding and invite them out to join us for the most fun you’ll have breastfeeding all year.
